Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and equipment using appropriate manual handling techniques and heavy equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or clamp trucks. Support the team in organizing items for efficient storage or transport within the warehouse or moving site. Operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners, order pickers, and basic material handling tools to ensure accurate inventory management. Follow safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards during all manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries. Help coordinate shipping and receiving activities by ensuring proper placement of goods using warehouse operations procedures. Maintain a clean, safe workspace by adhering to safety guidelines for heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely load & unload processes while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling is highly desirable. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, crane systems, or other heavy machinery is a plus. Knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners is preferred. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying shipments accurately. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and protocols related to warehouse operations. Warehouse supervisor experience or background in warehouse operations will be advantageous but not required. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting daily operational needs.
