Mover Helper

Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, clamp trucks, and manual handling techniques Safely handle and transport furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items during moves Support the organization and inventory management of materials in the warehouse or storage areas Operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners, order pickers, cranes, and heavy lifting machinery following safety protocols Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shipping & receiving processes and proper load & unload procedures Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse or storage facilities Skills Warehouse distribution experience with familiarity in order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory management Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and crane systems Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently Knowledge of warehouse operations including use of RF scanners, basic math for measurements and calculations, and materials handling techniques Experience with heavy equipment operation while adhering to safety standards such as OSHA regulations Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build their expertise in warehouse logistics while providing exceptional service during moving projects.
