Mover/Hauler Assistant - Part Time 12-25 hours/week

Good Move Downsizing helps older adults and families declutter, downsize, and move with care and respect. We’re growing and looking for a kind and compassionate move assistant to join our team. You’d be great at this if you: Are friendly, dependable, patient and enjoy helping people. Can take direction and work efficiently as part of a small team. Comfortable working in homes that may be cluttered, dusty, or emotionally charged Have patience and empathy for clients going through big life transitions. Have experience in people-centered or hands-on work (healthcare, caregiving, cleaning, organizing, social services, or similar). Respectful of confidentiality and client privacy What You’ll Do: Support clients with kindness and professionalism Help transport donations, trash, and items for recycling - experience with driving a small-medium moving truck is a plus! Lift, carry, and move boxes and furniture (with team support) Maintain a nonjudgmental, calm, and supportive attitude Follow direction from the Team Lead on each project Help load vehicles or coordinate donation drop-offs Work in a variety of homes — sometimes neat, sometimes very full and messy, sometimes with cats and dogs Details: Flexible, part-time hours (mostly weekdays, occasional weekends). The bulk of our schedules are from 10am-2pm onsite in the clients' home. Pay starts at $21/hr Training provided; must have reliable transportation.
