Mover/Hauler Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Hauler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation and handling of goods, furniture, and equipment. Your primary focus will be on manual handling and heavy lifting to ensure efficient and safe moving operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where physical strength and attention to safety are essential. Responsibilities Safely perform manual handling tasks to load, unload, and move items of various sizes and weights. Assist with heavy lifting and carrying of furniture, appliances, boxes, and other goods. Ensure items are securely packed and transported without damage. Follow safety protocols and proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and work areas. Collaborate with team members to coordinate moving activities efficiently. Assist in disassembling and reassembling furniture or equipment as needed. Provide excellent customer service by handling items carefully and professionally during the move. Skills Physical strength and stamina to perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks throughout the workday. Ability to follow safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques. Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients. Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks or environments. Basic understanding of safety procedures related to moving operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, dependable, and committed to providing efficient moving services while prioritizing safety at all times.
