Mover

Overview Seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover to help during set up and tear down during weekend festival. Set up is Wednesday, November 18 from 9:30am-11:30am and tear-down is on Sunday, November 22 from 6:00 pm- 8:00pm. This role involves assisting owner with moving needs, loading and unloading items from a small van, setting up and taking down a pop-up tent. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, understand directions given in English, be able to lift up to 35-40 pounds and work outdoor on the beach. This is a part-time, as needed, position. This position offers an opportunity to learn the fair and festival business if interested. MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION. Responsibilities Safely load and unload bins/ boxes, grid wall, tables, pop-up tent, lighting items Stand for up to two hours, twist and reach above head to set up and secure items Assist owner with packing and organizing belongings for transport Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage Maintain safe use of the equipment Communicating effectively with owner throughout the move Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting and equipment operation Load and unload items efficiently while adhering to scheduled timelines Experience Prior experience in delivery driving, or moving services is beneficial Experience with heavy lifting (up to 35-40 pounds) is beneficial Friendly demeanor is a plus for interacting professionally during work hours This role requires physical strength for heavy lifting (up to 35-40 pounds), ability to understand directions given in English, and friendly demeanor to ensure client satisfaction.
