Mover/Driver (Lead)

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Mover/Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will oversee moving operations, lead a team of movers, and ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy lifting, and warehouse procedures will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a leader on the ground, you’ll coordinate logistics, operate equipment like forklifts, and maintain high safety standards—all while fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of movers, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of moving projects Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods between locations Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and organize items efficiently Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their needs professionally Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while maintaining proper safety techniques Coordinate logistics with warehouse staff to ensure accurate inventory handling and delivery schedules Maintain safety protocols by conducting routine equipment inspections and adhering to transportation regulations Support team training on moving techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures Qualifications Proven experience in moving operations, warehouse work, or related fields with leadership responsibilities preferred Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) With Air Brakes or equivalent required for driving roles Certification or experience operating forklifts is highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and clients Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations Previous warehouse experience is a plus for understanding inventory handling processes Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in logistics management Join us as a Lead Mover/Driver and be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding service!
