Mover/Driver

Driver / Mover We are currently seeking candidates for Drivers/Movers. Candidates with previous experience in the moving industry are strongly encouraged to apply, however experience is not required and we will provide paid training. Compensation: Class A Drivers $30-$34 per hour (DOE) + TIPS + Annual Company Bonus Non-Class A Drivers $23-28 per hour (DOE) + TIPS + Annual Company Bonus ( Note: We have distributed over $160,000 in crew bonuses since 2020! ) Driver Position Responsibilities Drive van to loading point and consult with customer on goods to be moved Supervise labor and give direction regarding moving articles to van Pack, wrap or otherwise protect furniture, fixtures and equipment to prevent damage, according to established standards Load truck, distributing weight evenly, forming compact load, and utilizing space efficiently Drive van to destination and unload cargo With the crew, carry/dolly items between residence/facility and the vehicle/container Safely stack and unstack items in the vehicle or container, and safely place the items in the destination residence or facility at the direction of the customer Supervise all work of the crew Review the job requirements with the crew prior to arrival Complete a detailed descriptive inventory of all items to be loaded, or assure that all items delivered are checked off against the shipping inventory Position Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to work the Day Shift ( REQUIRED ) Able to reliably commute to 98059 ( REQUIRED ) Authorized to work in the United States ( REQUIRED ) Ability to speak and read English proficiently ( REQUIRED ) Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug test ( REQUIRED ) Capable of lifting and/or moving 50+ pounds without assistance ( REQUIRED ) Capable of reaching with hands and arms ( REQUIRED ) Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl ( REQUIRED ) Capable of climbing & carrying a ladder ( REQUIRED ) Company Background: Founded in 1890, Hansen Bros.
