We're looking to add another hardworking, reliable individual to our team who is interested in becoming a company driver and potentially a crew leader . We're not simply looking for someone to move furniture. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, shows up when scheduled, and wants to become an important part of our team. Position Overview This position involves residential and commercial moving, including loading, unloading, protecting furniture, and providing excellent customer service. One of our biggest priorities is finding someone who can eventually drive our moving trucks and potentially lead a crew. All new employees start by learning our moving procedures, furniture protection standards, and customer service expectations before taking on driving responsibilities. Previous moving or box truck experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person who demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Pay & Growth Opportunities $18/hour: Starting mover rate while learning our procedures. $20/hour: Once qualified and approved to drive our company trucks. Tips: Customers frequently tip our crews, providing additional earning opportunities. Tips can add approximately $3–$10/hour on average (sometimes more) during busy periods, although amounts vary and are not guaranteed. Raises: Employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and leadership may earn raises of $1–$2/hour within their first few months. Bonuses: Additional earning opportunities based on performance and customer feedback. Hours & Scheduling — Please Read We're currently looking for someone who is comfortable starting part-time, with the potential to grow into more consistent or full-time hours . New employees may initially average approximately 15–30 hours per week, although actual hours can vary significantly depending on scheduling, business volume, and performance. Our business is seasonal, meaning some weeks are busier than others. We cannot guarantee immediate full-time hours or a minimum number of weekly hours. Our goal is to provide our strongest employees with as much work as possible. Employees who consistently show up, communicate well, learn quickly, and can take on driving or crew leadership responsibilities generally receive priority when scheduling available work. We're looking for someone who understands this and is interested in growing with the company. Responsibilities Safely load and unload household furniture and belongings. Properly wrap, pad, and protect furniture and customers' homes. Carry furniture, appliances, and boxes up and down stairs. Work efficiently as part of a moving crew. Provide professional, friendly customer service. Follow company safety procedures and moving standards. Assist with truck preparation, equipment, and jobsite organization. Eventually operate company moving trucks once properly trained and qualified. Develop the skills necessary to potentially lead moving crews.
