Position Overview Position: Part-Time Mover / Customer Service ProfessionalLocation: Concord, NC, and surrounding service areasEmployment Type: Part-time, with opportunities for additional hours and advancementCompensation: Competitive starting pay, with opportunities to earn more through performance, incentives, bonuses, and customer tips. This position begins on a part-time basis, allowing both you and the company to determine whether it’s a good fit. Delivering Exceptional Customer Service Greet customers professionally and maintain a positive, respectful attitude throughout each job. Treat every customer with patience, courtesy, and care. Communicate clearly with customers and team members. Help make the moving process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Represent Moving With Purpose in a way that builds trust, earns referrals, and strengthens our reputation. Understand that every customer interaction is an opportunity to make a lasting impression. 2. Protecting Customers’ Homes and Belongings Carefully wrap, carry, load, unload, and position furniture and household belongings. Use moving blankets, shrink wrap, dollies, straps, and other equipment properly. Protect floors, walls, doorways, furniture, and other property. Follow company procedures for handling fragile, valuable, and oversized items. Immediately report any damage, safety concerns, or customer issues to the crew leader. Never hide mistakes or take shortcuts that put customer belongings at risk. 3. Maintaining a Strong Work Ethic Work efficiently and stay productive throughout the job. Follow directions, accept constructive feedback, and look for ways to help the team. Take initiative instead of waiting to be told every next step. Maintain a professional attitude, even during physically demanding or challenging jobs. Work cooperatively with the crew and help teammates when needed. Take pride in completing every job to the company’s standards. 4. Reliability and AttendanceReliability is a core requirement of this position. Arrive on time and ready to work for every scheduled shift. Communicate promptly if an emergency or unexpected issue may affect your attendance. Provide as much advance notice as reasonably possible when unable to work a scheduled shift. Maintain consistent attendance and dependable availability. Be prepared to work early mornings, weekends, and varying schedules based on customer demand. Follow scheduling and call-out procedures established by management. Being late, frequently calling out, failing to communicate, or not showing up for scheduled shifts can affect continued employment. Our customers depend on us, and your teammates depend on you. 5. Teamwork and Professionalism Follow instructions from the crew leader and management. Maintain respectful communication with coworkers, customers, and other professionals. Wear appropriate work attire and maintain good personal hygiene. Keep company trucks, equipment, and job sites clean and organized. Use company equipment responsibly and report any problems. Maintain a positive attitude and represent the company’s values on and off the job while working in a customer-facing role.
