Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair service trailers and associated equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance for brakes, lights, axles, tires, and hitches
• Execute DOT and safety inspections to guarantee compliance with all regulations
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and work orders
• Safely operate basic shop tools and equipment
• Coordinate repair needs and parts procurement with supervisors and vendors
• Assist field teams with on-site trailer service as necessary
• Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company operational guidelines
Essential Skills:
• Expertise in trailer inspection and repair
• Experience with brake systems maintenance
• Proficiency in electrical and lighting repairs
• Tire and wheel service knowledge
• Preventive maintenance scheduling capabilities
• Understanding of DOT and safety compliance regulations
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and lift systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
• Competence in reading work orders and manuals
• Experience with maintenance recordkeeping
