Mobile Trailer Technician

Overview Harford Fleet Services is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Trailer Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll perform on‑site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of commercial trailers. You’ll work independently in the field, support fleet customers, and help keep their equipment safe, compliant, and on the road. Responsibilites Field Diagnostics — Identify mechanical, electrical, and brake system issues on‑site. Trailer Repairs — Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, tires, lighting, wiring, landing gear, and structural components. DOT & PM Inspections — Complete preventative maintenance and DOT‑compliant inspections. Customer Interaction — Communicate findings, repair needs, and timelines professionally. Work Order Documentation — Accurately record services performed, parts used, and inspection results. Mobile Service Truck Management — Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in the service truck. Qualifications Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
