Mobile Semi-Trailer Technician – Take-Home Truck, $17–$31/hr

Elite Fleet Services is growing fast and needs Mobile Trailer Technicians who are done with slow shops, micromanagers, and paying for their own gas. You'll run your own fully stocked service truck and fix dry vans, reefers, and flatbeds right at the customer's yard. You get trusted to do it right the first time, and you get paid like it. Why techs choose us - $17–$31/hr starting pay, based on experience - A company service truck you take home every night, with fuel covered - A fully stocked truck with quality tools and equipment - You control your day, with no shop politics and nobody babysitting you - Leadership that listens and backs its techs - National fleet partners and real room to move up What you'll do - Do DOT/FHWA annual inspections and PMs on dry vans, reefers, and flatbeds - Repair brakes, ABS, air systems, slack adjusters, and wheel ends (hubs, seals, bearings) - Repair suspensions, including air ride and spring - Troubleshoot trailer lighting and wiring, including 7-way and harness work - Repair liftgates, swing doors, roll-up doors, and landing gear - Do welding and fabrication, crossmember and panel repair, and floor and roof patches - Document every job with photos and notes on a company iPhone, and fill out DOT forms accurately - Keep customers and dispatch updated, and point out other repairs you spot What you bring - 2+ years of trailer or fleet maintenance experience - A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a DOT medical card (or the ability to get one within 72 hours) - Your own hand tools - The ability to diagnose quickly and work independently in any weather - Professional communication with customers - Welding experience and an FHWA brake inspector qualification are a plus If you can walk up to a trailer, find the problem, and fix it, you'll do well here.
