Key responsibilities include: Diagnosing and repairing trailer refrigeration units Performing preventive maintenance on reefer systems and trailer equipment Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and telematics systems Conducting inspections and identifying necessary repairs Utilizing diagnostic tools and alarm codes to efficiently resolve issues Completing trailer repairs and maintenance from a fully equipped mobile service truck Operating powered industrial equipment safely and effectively Recording repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities using company software Maintaining compliance with safety and DOT standards Qualifications Reefer technician experience required Trailer repair experience required Ability to perform DOT inspections EPA 608 Certification required Ability to diagnose and repair refrigeration units using alarm codes Strong understanding of electrical schematics and technical diagrams Welding experience with steel and aluminum is a plus CDL preferred but not required Clean driving record Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to quality workmanship About Fleet Repair Solutions Fleet Repair Solutions is a family-owned leader in medium- and heavy-duty fleet maintenance and repair.
