Mobile HD Diesel Mechanic

Full time experienced heavy duty mobile mechanic wanted. Must be capable of working on a variety of trucks and equipment on the road. Applicant should have an adequate understanding of the functions and components regarding but not limited to: air and hydraulic systems, medium to heavy duty brakes, medium to heavy duty suspensions and gas/diesel engines. Dependent on your experience level, your role will consist of: Completing regular maintenance and oil changes Independently diagnosing and repairing trucks in the field Accurately requesting and recording parts used per job Providing daily updates on jobs in progress Able to utilize and interpret various diagnostic softwares (J-Pro, Cummins Insight and Mitchell) Driving to multiple terminals within an hour of Waterford Requirements Mechanic must provide own basic hand and air tools Proficient with driving manual transmission vehicles Minimum of 1 HD mechanic certification Physically able to lift up to 50lbs Maintain a clean and organized workspace Must have reliable transportation Must have chauffeur's license Must be able to provide or obtain a DOT medical card Work Truck 2016 Freightliner M2-106 with a Cummins 6.7L Truck was a Matco tool truck previously so it is equipped with Both the cab and box have heat and a/c units Ample space including shelves, drawers and desk Mini-fridge Small flat screen TV/monitor Rear mounted liftgate We are a family owned and operated business looking to grow our team!
