We are in search of a mechanic who specializes in electrical, inspecting, repairing, and doing preventative maintenance, fleet experience and liftgate repairs is a must, we need mechanic helpers that know all the components and systems of trailers used for hauling large loads. Responsibilities: Trailer Mechanic ASAP. · Repair and/or rebuild fleet, truck and trailers according to daily schedules. · Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts as needed. · Utilize appropriate resources to determine the most effective and efficient method for repairing and locating parts. · Follow all company rules and policies. · Provide a great level of attention to detail. · Follow all safety rules and quality standards. · Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Knowledge and Skills for this Position: · Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and other job-specific equipment and tools. · Lift materials, (up to 100 pounds). · Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision. · Ability to demonstrate successful welding skills in non-standard situations and on varying materials is a plus. · Ability to sit, walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time. · Heavy Duty Equipment – Experience with Mobile Fleet Repair Services, on Heavy Duty Equipment, Excavators, Skid Steers, Dump Trucks, Forklifts, Scissor lifts, Backhoes, Boom Lifts, Graders, Concrete Equipment, Truck Repair Service, and Trailer Repairs. · Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (gloves, etc.) · Detail-oriented, self-directed, good communication, and personal skills. · Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. · Must be reliable, with a strong and dependable work ethic and desire to contribute to a team. · Willing to work 40+ hours weekly and some overtime. Requirements: · Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older. · Clean MVR · Ability to pass a background and driver’s license screening is required. Benefits Package: · Seven paid holidays.
