Mobile Fleet Technician & Coordinator

About the role G.L.O.M. Global is hiring a Mobile Fleet Technician & Coordinator to keep our passenger van fleet safe and on the road. You'll bring your own truck and tools to our sites across Lodi/Stockton, Galt, Livermore and Merced, perform preventive maintenance on location, and own the maintenance schedule from start to finish. Our vans transport staff and the clients we serve, so reliability matters every day. This is a full-time, on site role reporting to the Director of Operations, based in Stockton, CA. What you'll do Perform on-site preventive maintenance on full-size passenger vans, minivans and sedans: oil and filter changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, brake pad replacement, filters, wipers, batteries and fluids Run a rotating weekly route across our four regions, servicing every vehicle due at a site in one visit Own the PM schedule in Fleetio and log every service the same day, with mileage and parts used Triage reported vehicle issues, schedule larger repairs with outside shops, and review repair estimates Track registrations, emissions and insurance renewals for every vehicle Maintain fleet asset records and track keys, parts and equipment Handle used oil and fluids safely and in line with California requirements What you bring Required Your own reliable truck or van, suitable for carrying tools, parts and fluids, with current registration and personal auto insurance Your own professional hand tools for light-duty automotive maintenance 3+ years of hands-on automotive maintenance experience, ideally on full-size vans Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record; must pass an MVR check and qualify as an approved driver under our insurance Comfortable using fleet software (Fleetio or similar), email and spreadsheets Able to work outdoors in all weather, lift 50 lb and work under vehicles Organized, self-directed and able to manage your own schedule Preferred ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) Fleet coordinator or service advisor experience Experience handling used oil and automotive fluids G.L.O.M. Global provides the specialty and heavy equipment: floor jack, jack stands, ramps, oil drain and waste containers, scan tool, and spill kit.
