Role Description The Mobile Fleet Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area. This role is responsible for performing mobile preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles and heavy equipment at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include responding to service calls, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting safety and performance checks, and documenting work performed in accordance with company and regulatory standards. The Mobile Fleet Mechanic will use service vehicles, tools, and diagnostic equipment to deliver high-quality, efficient service, communicate clearly with customers and the internal team, and support the goal of minimizing downtime for fleet operations. The role may require flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to meet customer needs. Qualifications Strong maintenance and maintenance & repair skills for commercial vehicles and fleet equipment. Experience with preventive maintenance practices, including inspections, servicing, and scheduled repairs. Knowledge of heavy equipment systems, including hydraulics, brakes, suspensions, and powertrains. Proficient troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic issues. Relevant technical training or certification in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment repair (ASE or similar preferred). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles safely. Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate service documentation. Strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulatory requirements, and high-quality customer service.
