Mobile Diesel Technician ll

Position: Mobile Heavy Duty Diesel Technician ll Rate: $32/hr-$38/hr Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm and must be available to work ONE Saturday every month. Requirements & Qualifications: - must be 18 or older - must have valid driver’s license - must be able to pass a background check - must provide your own tools (specialty tools can be provided) - must have at least 2 years of experience to be able to perform DOT Inspections Job Description: We are looking for a technician who can troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, hydraulic, and electronic systems, as well as engines, transmissions, and differentials in field-service environments. Perform DOT inspections and ensure equipment meets applicable safety and regulatory requirements. Maintain and operate a company-issued service truck while managing mobile parts inventory. Clearly communicate repair findings, document completed work using mobile digital applications and tablets, and coordinate repair estimates with management and customers. Our owner and lead technician has over 15 years of experience in the field, is fully Cummins certified, and is now officially sponsored by IState Truck Center allowing us to perform countless warranty work for Palfinger, Fassi, and IMT. We serve Brunswick, Jacksonville, Gainesville and Daytona Beach, with plans to expand further. Most of the companies we work on prefer us to come in the afternoon after business hours hence the afternoon/night work. We are NOT 24/7 and you will NEVER be on call overnight.
