Mobile Diesel Technician – Hydraulic Boom Trucks (El Paso, TX) About the Role: Transwest Mobile Truck Repair is expanding into the El Paso market, and we’re looking for an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician with 5+ years of diesel truck repair experience to be our first hire in the area. As the sole technician in this growing territory, you’ll be the face of Transwest for our customers, handling hydraulic and heavy-duty truck repairs on-site from a company-provided take-home service truck. You’ll be managed remotely, with no on-site manager, so we’re looking for a seasoned tech who takes ownership of their work, stays organized, and is comfortable making decisions in the field. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help build a market from the ground up and grow with it. Occasional travel to support customers in southern New Mexico may be required. What You’ll Do: Use your diesel repair experience to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks in the field Diagnose and repair hydraulic boom trucks, including Terex systems Repair and replace hydraulic lines, hoses, fittings, and modular valves Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty chassis systems, including air brakes Perform field repairs on equipment and heavy-duty trucks at customer locations Communicate clearly with customers about repairs, timelines, and findings Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time on job Support customers in the New Mexico area as needed What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of experience in diesel truck repair 2–5 years of experience with hydraulic system repair Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record - REQUIRED Hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks and air brake systems Experience with Terex or similar hydraulic boom truck systems strongly preferred Equipment repair experience in addition to heavy-duty truck work is a plus Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently and being managed remotely Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage your own schedule and workload Strong communication skills to keep your remote manager and customers updated What We Offer: Take-home company service truck Full Benefits Package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), short/long term disability, life insurance options) Health savings account (HSA) w/ company match PTO AND Paid Holidays Remote support from an experienced management team Ground-floor opportunity to grow with the El Paso market as we expand Ready to be the first Transwest tech in El Paso?
