Job Title: Mobile Diesel Technician / Field Service Technician Location: Houston & Surrounding Areas Company: East Texas Truck Center About the Role: We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician to join our Field Service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment at customer sites and job locations. You’ll operate a company service truck and directly represent our company in the field. Pay: $35–$55 per hour , based on experience and certifications. Overtime available. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, hydraulics, electrical, DEF/aftertreatment, cooling systems, brakes, and trailer systems Perform PM services and routine maintenance Respond to field service and roadside calls when required Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings and recommendations Accurately document work performed in service software/work orders Maintain company service truck, tools, and equipment Follow all safety standards and maintain a professional and clean work environment Requirements: 5+ years experience as a Diesel Technician (on-highway preferred) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Ability to work independently and make sound repair decisions in the field Valid driver’s license with clean record Must have own hand tools (specialty/diagnostic tools provided) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors as needed Preferred (Not Required): CDL-A or CDL-B Experience with Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, CAT, International engines Aftertreatment/DPF/DEF repair experience Schedule & Benefits: Full-time, Monday–Friday with opportunities for overtime Health Insurance Paid Time Off & Holidays Company Service Truck Growth & advancement opportunities Call or Text Joe Neeley @ 832-867-9143 send resume to jneeley@easttexastruckcenter.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Experience: Diesel Engine Repair: 5 years (Preferred) Mechanical Knowledge: 5 years (Preferred) License/Certification: CDL (Preferred) Work Location: In person
