Uptime Mobile Services provides on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for commercial trucks, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment. We’re looking for dependable technicians who take pride in their work, troubleshoot effectively, and work independently while communicating with our office and customers. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, and suspension systems. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on trucks, trailers, and equipment. Use diagnostic software, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to identify problems and verify repairs. Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and safety. Accurately document findings, repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job. Communicate repair needs and recommendations to customers and our office. Keep your service truck, tools, parts, and supplies clean, organized, and ready for work. Maintain a clean customer work area and follow safety and environmental requirements. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience. Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently, manage your time, and coordinate with the team. Dependability, attention to detail, and professional communication. Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred. Mobile or field service experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; diesel technology training or certifications preferred. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
