Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy-duty diesel Semi vehicles and equipment used in our fuel delivery operations. Your expertise will ensure our fleet remains safe, efficient, and ready to meet the demands of our clients. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension, and electrical systems across diverse heavy equipment and vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, alignment checks, and equipment inspections to prevent breakdowns. Fabricate and modify components using welding and hand tools to meet operational needs. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics and automotive electrical system knowledge. Repair farm machinery, industrial equipment, excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles. Utilize power tools and heavy lifting techniques to safely disassemble and assemble vehicle components. Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards such as air brake certifications and HVAC systems. Qualifications Diagnose & Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on fuel-hauling trucks and trailers. Perform Preventive Maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition. Conduct Major & Minor Repairs, including brake systems, suspension, tires, air, and electrical systems. Handle Minor Diesel Engine Repairs and ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain an Organized Work Area to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with the Team to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime. Experience in Truck & Trailer Maintenance (fuel tanker experience a plus!). Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not required). Own Basic Tools to perform job functions. Basic Computer Skills to log work and complete reports. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Welding Experience (a plus but not required). Safety-Oriented Mindset with attention to detail.
