Description Mobile Mechanic - Tualatin, OR We’re looking for a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to support our fleet across our Oregon Territory — from Longview, WA, to Salem, OR. Based out of Tualatin, OR, you’ll handle on-site service calls and keep our equipment running strong, working closely with our Shop and PC leadership for scheduling and support. Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Flexible shift, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Day In The Life As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you'll play a vital role in keeping our fleet on the road. Your daily responsibilities will include: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to troubleshoot issues and ensure vehicles remain in proper operating condition Perform routine and preventative maintenance services Utilize diagnostic tools including laptops, scanners, and wiring diagrams to diagnose and repair diesel engines Repair and replace drive train components including automatic and manual transmissions, clutches, drive lines and differentia Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and components Perform DOT inspections on trucks and trailers Maintain safe and organized work area Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical and regulation publications Adhere to NWC Safety Policies and follows all applicable laws and regulations Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned After-Hours Availability: Must be available to respond to after-hours service calls on nights and weekends as needed. Requirements The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years practical experience in commercial fleet maintenance.
