Mixer Driver (CDL A/B)

We're seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Concrete Mixer Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll operate heavy-duty mixer trucks to transport and deliver wet concrete to job sites, ensuring timely and accurate pours while upholding the highest standards of road safety and vehicle maintenance. Key Responsibilities Safely operate rear-load concrete mixer trucks on local and regional routes, adhering to DOT regulations and company safety protocols. Load and unload concrete batches at plants and job sites, monitoring mix consistency and volume for quality control. Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant operators, and site supervisors to coordinate deliveries and resolve any on-road issues. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking tires, brakes, and hydraulic systems to ensure compliance with FMCSA standards. Report any maintenance needs promptly and work cooperatively with mecahnics to support vehicle service and repair work. Assist with minor truck maintenance, upkeep, and truck cleaning to keep equipment in top condition. Qualifications Valid Class A or B CDL required. Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL experience required. Experience driving concrete mixer trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles preferred. Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and no major accidents or DUI convictions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions. Strong knowledge of concrete mixing processes, load securement, and weight distribution. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
