Key Responsibilities Operate company support vessels safely in a variety of operating conditions. Prepare vessels for daily operations, including inspections, fueling, readiness checks, and preventative maintenance. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair marine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems. Maintain vessel maintenance records, operational logs, and required documentation. Coordinate vessel movements, towing activities, logistics, and equipment handling as required. Ensure vessels remain clean, secure, and mission-ready. Comply with all applicable USCG, federal, state, local, and company safety requirements. Represent Hydra Marine professionally while supporting customer operations. Operational Requirements Must be willing and able to travel in support of customer operations. Must be willing to work away from home for extended assignments as required. Must be able to work flexible schedules, including early mornings and evenings when mission requirements dictate. Must be capable of working in varying weather and sea conditions. Minimum Qualifications Minimum USCG 6-Pack Captain License. 2–5 years of experience operating and maintaining small craft. Experience operating RHIBs or comparable support vessels. Strong marine maintenance and troubleshooting skills. At least 2 years marine engineering experience preferred. U.S. Citizenship required. Must meet company insurance requirements. Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening, driving record review, background screening, and on-water coxswain assessment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting government, defense, military, offshore, or other professional maritime operations. Towing endorsement. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
