YOU must be able to manage your truck safely, which is a GREAT RESPONSIBILITY! Drive the morning shift with a 26' Box Truck Compensation: $25.75/hour RIACT Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, looking for dedicated individuals who are motivated to work in a team environment. Currently, we are looking to fill full-time and part-time driving positions in Woodbridge, NJ. MORNING BOX TRUCK Driver Responsibilities: Arrive on time, inspect truck, use Relay app Never fail to wake up for your shift. Load trucks at a Whole Foods location, drive to a drop off location and drop off and possibly pick up more loads and drop at the same location and complete your route. Use a pallet jack and lift gate to offload your truck. Scan everything. In all weather conditions, drive and deliver safely You can expect to work about 2-5 shifts per week, shifts range from 6-12 hours per day with the average shift being 10 hours Shifts START around 6AM You must work at least one weekend day Follow strict safety standards on and off the road Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records Have a positive can-do attitude, work well with other team members Be 21 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety Have a valid driver's license (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required – but you must be able to obtain a DOT medical card Be able to operate a large 26' box truck, weighing up to 26,000 lbs. on a short haul exemption (you drive our trucks!) Must be able to occasionally move heavy boxes (up to 70lbs) Workday begins and ends in the vicinity of Woodbridge, NJ MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH Delivery Driver Requirements: We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and are in compliance with DOT regulations.
