About the Opportunity: The MID-LEVEL CONTRACT SPECIALIST role is responsible for managing acquisition activities related to VA requirements. This position contributes by independently handling moderate-complexity contract actions and supporting senior specialists on high-visibility procurements, ensuring compliance and effective contract management throughout acquisition planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, and post-award phases. Responsibilities: Prepare acquisition documents including PWS/SOW, market research, IGCEs, evaluation factors, and VA templates. Draft and release solicitations compliant with FAR Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16. Coordinate technical evaluations, conduct price analysis, and prepare award documentation. Support post-award contract activities such as modifications, funding actions, performance monitoring, and closeout. Ensure compliance with FAR, VAAR, VHA PM, and PWS deliverables. Interface with contractors and VA stakeholders. Requirements: 3–6 years of federal contracting experience with exposure to VA and VAAR. Knowledge of VAAR, VA templates, and VHA PM procedures. Experience in price analysis, evaluation documentation, and contract administration. DAWIA/FAC-C Level I or II certification preferred.
