Job Description The Production Scheduling Manager for the ESU Door Team is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all production activities associated with aircraft carrier door systems. This position ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with technical requirements while supporting overall RCOH production objectives. The manager serves as the primary interface between production, planning, engineering, quality, supply chain, and customer representatives to eliminate barriers to execution and maintain schedule performance. Essential Job Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute integrated production schedules for all assigned door system work. Coordinate daily production activities to ensure manpower, material, tooling, and technical documentation are available before work begins. Monitor schedule performance and identify risks that could impact milestones, testing, or delivery dates. Lead daily production meetings and communicate priorities, resource requirements, and schedule changes to supervisors and craftsmen. Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling, Material and Logistics, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Test, and Ship’s Force to resolve production issues. Track work package completion, milestone progress, and critical path activities. Ensure all work complies with safety requirements, technical procedures, NAVSEA standards, and company policies. Review work delays, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve schedule adherence.
