MERCHANDISER/FLOOR STOCKER

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser/Floor Stocker to energize our retail environment through expert product placement, inventory management, and visual presentation. In this role, you will be the driving force behind creating attractive, organized, and customer-friendly store layouts that enhance shopping experiences. Your proactive approach will ensure shelves are stocked efficiently, displays are visually appealing, and store standards are consistently met. Duties Stock shelves and organize merchandise, ensuring products are displayed accurately and attractively. Implement visual merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and appeal, utilizing skills in visual design and store management. Manage inventory levels through regular stock checks, inventory control procedures, and material handling equipment operation for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Assist with store remodeling projects, interior design updates, and layout adjustments to optimize space utilization and enhance customer flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock areas, ensuring safety protocols such as ladder use and standard passenger car operation are followed. Collaborate with team members on training & development initiatives, leadership responsibilities, and store management tasks to foster a productive work environment. Skills Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities to guide team members effectively. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating compelling visual displays and schematics. Knowledge of marketing principles to support branding efforts and promotional activities within the store. Multilingual abilities preferred to enhance client communication and customer service across diverse populations. Expertise in planogram implementation, visual merchandising, and retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management. Experience with retail store operations including cashiering, cash handling, POS systems, inventory control, and retail sales strategies. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple tasks such as cleaning, remodeling projects, or stock replenishment. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction, team collaboration, and training purposes. Familiarity with material handling equipment operation including ladders for high shelving access.
