Merchandiser - Beverages

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Merchandiser specializing in Beverages to join our vibrant retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating eye-catching displays, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring that our beverage products are presented in a way that attracts customers and drives sales. Responsibilities Implement and maintain attractive planograms and visual displays that align with branding standards and marketing strategies. Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring product availability and proper placement according to schematics and store management guidelines. Conduct regular inventory checks, manage stock levels, and coordinate with store management for replenishment needs. Operate mobile devices and POS systems for pricing updates, sales processing, and inventory control. Use manual handling equipment safely for heavy lifting of beverage cases and materials, adhering to safety protocols including ladder use and interior design remodeling when necessary. Engage with customers by providing excellent service, answering product questions, and promoting featured beverages to increase sales. Assist in remodeling or visual merchandising projects to enhance store layout and optimize customer flow. Requirements Proven experience in retail store management or merchandising, preferably within the beverage or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector. Supervising experience is highly desirable for leadership opportunities within the team. Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating promotional visuals or schematics is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and store management in multiple languages if applicable. Knowledge of planogram implementation, visual design principles, and retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely, including heavy lifting tools, ladders, and standard passenger cars for transportation when required. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management, stock control, and cleanliness standards. Customer service orientation combined with training & development skills to support team growth.
