Merchandise processor/Cashier

Job Summary As a Merchandise Processor/Cashier, you’ll keep the store organized and welcoming while helping customers find products and complete purchases. You’ll process used merchandise, stock shelves, share product knowledge, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and cash register accurately. Your impact: By keeping products accessible and checkout smooth, you help customers shop with confidence and the team serve them efficiently. Will be sorting and pricing used products to be stocked on the shelves. Responsibilities Process, sort, price merchandise products; replenish shelves and maintain organized displays Assist customers with product questions and support retail sales through helpful recommendations and upselling Operate the POS system and cash register; process retail sales transactions, handle cash and the cash drawer, and follow checkout procedures Provide friendly customer service, communicate clearly. Support daily store operations. Requirements Customer service, communication skills, and a helpful approach to retail sales Ability to perform cashiering, cash handling, cash drawer handling, and cash register operations accurately; basic math and retail math skills Familiarity with merchandising, stocking, retail store product knowledge. Able to lift up to 30lbs and use a step ladder. POS experience and knowledge of retail sales transactions are helpful.
