Merchandise Processor

Job Summary Come work at the coolest surf shop in Hawai'i. Tamba Surf Co has been a big part of the community for decades. We're looking to add a FT team member in our merchandise processing department. This entry-level position is full-time 5 days a week. Duties include merchandise processing, restocking, assisting customers with surfboard rentals, and related tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must already live on island with reliable transportation. Competitive pay based on experience, includes medical/dental/vision/401k and employee discount after probation period. Duties Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming merchandise shipments using manual handling equipment and store management systems Assist in pricing products correctly and updating POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure seamless checkout experiences Conduct inventory counts, manage stock levels, and perform inventory control tasks to prevent shortages or overstocking Skills Proven supervising experience in retail or warehouse environments with strong leadership capabilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and customer service Basic math skills for pricing calculations and retail math tasks Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering positive shopping experiences Knowledge of manual handling techniques for heavy lifting safely during stock movement Experience with inventory management systems (POS) Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts Join us as a Merchandise Processor if you're passionate about retail operations, thrive in energetic environments, and want to contribute to creating engaging shopping experiences!
