What you'll do
• Support the Merchandise Planning team within a merchandising division.
• Analyze location-level sales performance, trends, and business metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and business analyses to inform planning decisions.
• Assist with forecasting activities and business performance reviews.
• Partner with Planning, Merchandising, Finance, and other teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Use data to make recommendations for location-specific sales and inventory strategies.
• Participate in scenario planning and business modeling.
• Identify trends and insights that support sales growth.
• Collaborate with partners across multiple functions to execute projects.
What you'll need
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or a related field.
• Graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Interest in retail planning, analytics, merchandising, or finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply data to support business recommendations.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to identify trends in large data sets.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Initiative, accountability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Location & details
• This is a full-time, paid internship at $23 per hour.
• The role is based in Burlington, New Jersey.
• This position follows a hybrid work model, typically requiring 2-3 days in the office per week.
• Applicants must be able to meet the attendance and travel requirements of the position.
