In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail and warehouse skills in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and process shipments using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Stock shelves efficiently, organize back-stock areas, and maintain product displays to maximize sales potential. Conduct regular inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock audits, to ensure inventory accuracy. Operate warehouse equipment safely, adhering to proper manual handling practices and safe lifting procedures for heavy loads. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading merchandise, verifying shipment accuracy, and preparing products for sale or distribution. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and stockroom areas to promote safety and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions, assisting with product location, and supporting retail store operations when needed. Qualifications Prior warehouse experience or retail store experience is preferred; familiarity with inventory control systems is a plus. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners; certification is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and stock organization. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a benefit for serving diverse customers. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and sustained standing or walking throughout shifts. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Knowledge of retail merchandising principles, grocery store operations (if applicable), and customer service standards.
