Medical Records/Central Supply Clerk

We are hiring a full-time Central Supply to join our dynamic care team at Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton! Up to $22 an hour with weekly pay! In this role, you are responsible for the ordering of nursing/medical supplies in accordance with the facility budget and resident/patient needs. Education & Experience: High school diploma or its equivalent preferred. Minimum one (1) year experience in clerical. On-the-job training provided in scheduling and medical terminology. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure adequate levels of nursing supplies are available for staff. Collaborate with staff on purchasing of needed supplies. Seek to meet all staff/patient/resident supply needs within scope of budgetary parameters. Stock supplies. Compare bills against packing slips to make sure that charges are correct. Other duties assigned by managerial team. Specific Requirements: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, basic computer skills and mathematical ability. Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel. Ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc. Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices. Be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents, staff, based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning. Is proficient in composition of written communication.
