Medical Pharmacy Independent Contract Courier

Independent Contract Courier (ICC)Overview We are seeking reliable and professional Independent Contract Couriers (ICCs) to provide pickup and delivery services for medical and pharmacy shipments throughout the local area. Couriers will use their own reliable vehicle and must maintain valid auto insurance, a smartphone, and the necessary supplies to complete deliveries. Couriers will also be required to complete HIPAA training and use a mobile application for delivery documentation and route management. Available routes, shipment volume, and schedules may vary based on business needs. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver medical and pharmacy shipments safely, accurately, and on time. Complete approximately 15–30+ shipments per day , Monday through Friday, depending on available routes and business needs. Follow assigned delivery schedules and service requirements. Maintain professional communication with pharmacy, healthcare, and other customer contacts. Use a mobile application to document pickups and deliveries, including proof of delivery. Utilize route optimization technology to efficiently manage assigned deliveries. Safeguard confidential and sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Maintain reliable communication and provide timely updates regarding deliveries or potential delays. Requirements Reliable personal vehicle. Valid driver's license and required auto insurance. Smartphone with reliable cellular service. Ability to use mobile applications and GPS/navigation technology. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries throughout the day. Must obtain an EIN (Employer Identification Number) prior to beginning work. Complete required HIPAA training. Preferred Qualifications Previous courier, delivery, logistics, or transportation experience is a plus, but not required . Customer service experience, particularly in healthcare or professional environments, is a plus. Strong attention to detail and dependability.
