Wage: $18.50 / hour Vacation / Benefits: 3 weeks paid vacation (or 5.77% vacation pay in accordance with Saskatchewan Employment Standards) Vehicle & Travel Allowance: Driver must provide their own reliable personal vehicle for delivery operations; fuel and mileage expenses incurred for business deliveries are compensated by the employer Anticipated Start Date: April 1, 2027 Number of Vacancies: 1 Job Overview Tupveer Farms Ltd. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Medical & Pharmacy Courier / Delivery Driver to provide secure, time-sensitive prescription and medical parcel transport across Northern Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will pick up pharmaceuticals from partner dispensing pharmacies and deliver directly to residential patients, local healthcare clinics, and community facilities in La Ronge, Air Ronge, local reserve lands, and adjacent rural grid-road areas . Key Duties & Responsibilities Operate a personal motor vehicle safely and responsibly to execute point-to-point dispatches across urban town streets, local reserve access roads, and rural highway/grid routes in varied seasonal and northern winter conditions. Pick up, inspect, and transport time-sensitive prescriptions, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies from partner pharmacy depots. Maintain the temperature control, physical security, and patient confidentiality of all medical shipments during transit. Navigate diverse addressing systems (including rural road markers, reserve lot descriptions, and local landmarks) to ensure timely, accurate parcel handoff. Verify recipient identity, confirm delivery manifests, and obtain required physical or digital delivery confirmation signatures. Maintain accurate daily mileage/trip logs and submit fuel/travel reimbursement records. Requirements & Qualifications Vehicle Requirement: Must possess and maintain a reliable, insured personal motor vehicle suitable for daily delivery operations and seasonal northern driving conditions. Licensing: Valid Driver’s License (Class 5 equivalent) with a clean driving abstract. Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent with ability to speak and understand English. Experience: 6 months to 1 year of commercial driving, courier, or route delivery experience is an asset (full on-the-road route training will be provided). Language: English (spoken and written communication required for manifest review and patient/clinic contact). Security & Safety: a) Criminal Record Check: Mandatory due to the handling and secure transport of prescription medications and pharmaceutical products. b) Vulnerable Sector Check: Mandatory, as this role involves direct, in-home deliveries to patients and vulnerable clients. Personal Suitability: Reliability, punctuality, strong route-planning skills, and comfort driving in rural/gravel/northern winter conditions.
