Medical Logistics Specialist

Location: Havelock, NC 28532 Duration: Long-term assignment Schedule: 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4 PM Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented Medical Logistics Supply Specialist to support medical supply operations, inventory management, requisition tracking, and distribution activities within a military medical treatment facility. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and customer service skills, along with experience supporting medical logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations. Experience working with the U.S. military, Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), or other federal healthcare facilities is preferred, but not required Key Responsibilities Coordinate with military personnel and federal government staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of supply-related activities. Maintain and update electronic catalogs, including product descriptions, pricing, and other technical information. Assist with product recalls, customer training, and maintenance of customer service documentation. Provide technical assistance regarding supply operations through telephone, written correspondence, and in-person communication. Respond to customer inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate personnel in accordance with facility policies. Research requisition status and coordinate follow-up with purchasing or other responsible departments. Identify supply-related problems, gather relevant information, and recommend or implement appropriate corrective actions within established guidelines. Assist with receiving, storing, and distributing medical and surgical supplies in accordance with medical treatment facility policies. Operate hand jacks, power jacks, carts, and related equipment to support warehouse operations. Follow facility safety procedures, including requirements for safety footwear and other protective equipment. Complete required Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste training at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. Handle hazardous materials in accordance with established medical treatment facility policies and procedures. #Workwolf
