Position Summary The Intermediate Analyst provides analytical, research, reporting, and operational support for Army medical logistics readiness and sustainment initiatives. Working under the direction of the Senior Medical Logistics Analyst, the Intermediate Analyst supports the collection, validation, analysis, and presentation of data from Defense Medical Logistics-Enterprise Solution (DML-ES), Medical Logistics (MEDLOG) systems, and other Army logistics systems. The position assists with evaluating medical readiness requirements, strategic guidance, theater sustainment plans, and medical prepositioned stock programs to support informed decision-making across the Army Materiel Command (AMC) enterprise. The work for this position shall be performed onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. Contingent Upon Contract Award DutiesResponsibilities The essential and specific functions include but are not limited to the following: Collect, validate, and analyze medical logistics data from DML-ES, MEDLOG, and other Army logistics systems. Develop reports, briefing materials, dashboards, and presentation products supporting AMC medical logistics initiatives. Support assessment of national strategic guidance, Department of Defense directives, HQDA policies, and Army medical sustainment requirements. Assist in evaluating Army Service Component Command (ASCC) Posture Statements, Theater Support Plans, and medical prepositioned stock programs. Conduct research and analysis supporting medical logistics readiness, supply chain performance, inventory management, and sustainment operations. Track logistics metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement. Support preparation of executive summaries, information papers, and decision-support products for Government leadership. Participate in planning meetings, working groups, and integrated project teams supporting medical logistics initiatives. Assist with coordination among AMC, MEDCOM, DHA, AMLC, USAMMA, and other medical logistics stakeholders. Maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy of analytical products and reporting deliverables. Support process improvement initiatives related to medical logistics, readiness reporting, and supply chain management. Perform administrative and analytical tasks necessary to support Army medical logistics operations and readiness objectives.
