Medical Courier Location: Dallas, Texas Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Schedule: Flexible, including weekends and holidays as needed Pay: Competitive, based on experience and route Job Summary We are looking for reliable, professional, and responsible Medical Couriers to join our team in the Dallas, Texas area. Medical Couriers are responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of medical specimens, supplies, documents, and other healthcare-related materials between medical facilities, laboratories, hospitals, clinics, and other designated locations. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management, dependable transportation, and the ability to follow strict handling and delivery procedures. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver medical specimens, supplies, documents, and other healthcare materials. Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules. Safely handle and transport temperature-sensitive and time-sensitive materials. Verify packages, labels, quantities, and delivery information before leaving each location. Maintain accurate pickup and delivery records. Obtain signatures or electronic confirmation when required. Communicate professionally with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, patients, and staff. Maintain confidentiality of patient and medical information. Follow all company procedures regarding specimen handling, transportation, safety, and security. Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition. Immediately report damaged, missing, delayed, or improperly labeled packages. Use a smartphone or delivery application to receive routes, communicate with dispatch, and document completed deliveries. Maintain reliable communication with dispatch throughout the shift. Qualifications Valid driver's license. Clean and acceptable driving record. Reliable vehicle that is properly registered and insured. Smartphone with reliable cellular service. Ability to lift and carry packages up to approximately 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Professional appearance and communication skills. Dependable and punctual. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Previous courier, delivery, healthcare, pharmacy, laboratory, or medical transportation experience is a plus but not required. Requirements Must be able to pass a background check and driving record check. Must have reliable transportation. Must maintain required auto insurance throughout employment. Must be willing to follow all applicable company and healthcare transportation procedures. Must be available for assigned routes and scheduled shifts.
