Media Buyer
Rubio Monocoat USAWe are bringing paid media in-house. Google and Meta have been run externally, and we want someone in the US who plans and judges every dollar against US and Canadian goals. You will own the accounts, the budget and the results, with a creative partner beside you and a director who wants to see your plan, not approve your bids. Twelve months in, our paid media will be one of the most reliable growth engines in the business. You will have built a well-structured, high-performing Google and Meta program that scales with confidence, with every dollar tied to the company plan and reported against it month by month. Conversion and demand generation will each run on their own budget and scorecard, Triple Whale will be the trusted source of truth for what works, and a steady test rhythm will keep the creative team building against real results. Leadership will be able to look at paid and know exactly what it is delivering, what the next dollar will return, and where we should push next. What you will do Own strategy and account structure for search such as Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube) and ChatGPT Ads along with social channels like Meta (Facebook, Instagram), with room to test TikTok and Pinterest. Run the conversion budget against revenue and ROAS, and the demand-generation budget against upper-funnel KPIs, and report them separately. Make Triple Whale the measurement backbone: define KPIs, keep attribution clean, and use Moby to automate what can be automated. Write ad briefs with our Ad Creative designer, agree the test plan, and feed performance back so each round is sharper than the last. Pull winning organic content from the social team into paid tests. Deliver a monthly readout: what changed, why, and what happens next. What we are looking for Required: 3 or more years hands-on buying on both Google Ads and Meta for an ecommerce brand, where you owned the account. Current Google Ads and Meta certifications. Confidence with reporting and attribution: you can reconcile platform-reported results with a multi-touch attribution tool (Triple Whale or similar) and explain what is really driving revenue. Experience managing a monthly budget in the tens of thousands without sign-off on every change. Daily use of AI tools in your work, and the ability to show how. Preferred: Triple Whale experience. Experience marketing to trades or building-products buyers. Comfort with YouTube and video-first campaigns. Each person owns a lane and is trusted to bring the plan, not wait for a brief, and we back each other up when it counts. We are curious, we share what we learn, and we like improving how we work as much as the work itself. That includes being AI-forward: we use AI tools every day to work smarter and expect you to bring that same savvy.
