Greenberry IndustrialMechanical Construction Manager (Licensed ACR Contractor) Location: Rockdale, Texas Company: Greenberry Industrial Construction Reports To: Regional Operations Manager / Project Director Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary Greenberry Industrial Construction is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager holding a current Texas Class A Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) Contractor License to lead the successful execution of chilled water, mechanical piping, and mission-critical infrastructure projects throughout Texas. This role is intended for a hands-on construction leader with both technical mechanical expertise and project management capabilities. The ideal candidate has experience managing field operations, subcontractors, project schedules, budgets, and customer relationships on complex mechanical construction projects involving chilled water systems, central utility plants, data centers, industrial facilities, semiconductor projects, or other advanced manufacturing environments. The Mechanical Construction Manager will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, engineers, commissioning teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Greenberry's quality standards. Key Responsibilities Construction Management & Project Execution Lead field execution of chilled water and mechanical piping construction projects. Coordinate and manage Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and craft personnel. Ensure work is performed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Develop and implement project execution plans, staffing plans, and construction schedules. Monitor project productivity, manpower requirements, and installation progress. Mechanical Systems Leadership Provide oversight of: Chilled water distribution systems Hydronic piping systems Central utility plants (CUPs) Mechanical equipment installations Pump and heat exchanger systems Cooling tower infrastructure Mechanical room construction Process cooling systems Large-diameter industrial piping systems Project Management Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts. Review schedules and identify opportunities to maintain or improve project performance. Coordinate procurement, material deliveries, subcontractor activities, and project resources. Assist with change order development and project planning activities. Participate in project meetings and provide updates to clients and company leadership. Client & Team Coordination Serve as a primary point of contact for mechanical construction activities. Build strong working relationships with owners, general contractors, trade partners, and engineering teams. Support project pursuits and preconstruction discussions when needed. Mentor junior project management and field personnel. Safety, Quality & Commissioning Promote Greenberry's commitment to safety and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements. Coordinate testing, flushing, startup, commissioning, and turnover activities. Verify quality control procedures are followed throughout project execution. Support successful project closeout and client turnover. Required Qualifications Current Texas Class A Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) Contractor License . 8+ years of mechanical construction experience. 3-5+ years of construction management, project management, superintendent, or leadership experience. Experience with chilled water systems, mechanical piping, HVAC infrastructure, or industrial utility systems. Ability to read and interpret: Mechanical drawings P&IDs Isometric drawings Specifications Construction schedules Strong understanding of construction sequencing, budgeting, scheduling, and productivity tracking.
