Mechanic / Parts Specialist

RTX Recycling LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic / Parts Specialist to support equipment maintenance and parts management across our recycling operations. This role involves performing mechanical repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and managing inventory of parts and supplies. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, organized, and committed to maintaining safe and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Maintenance & Repair Perform routine maintenance on recycling and processing equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs or coordinate with external vendors. Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Parts & Inventory Management Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies. Order replacement parts and track usage. Organize parts storage areas and ensure accurate labeling. Operational Support Assist operators with equipment troubleshooting. Support production teams by ensuring equipment readiness. Maintain maintenance logs and repair records. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Ensure equipment repairs meet safety and operational standards. Qualifications Mechanical experience in industrial, automotive, or equipment repair required. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues. Strong organizational skills for parts management. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in industrial environments.
