MECHANIC/FLEET MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Competitive pay of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on demonstrated experience Stable employment supporting an essential 24/7 aviation operation Consistent Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule, with rotating on-call schedule Small-shop environment where your contributions are recognized Opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of specialized aviation equipment Work independently while learning new skills from an experienced team What You Will Do Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections Service, repair, mount, and balance tires Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel system issues Repair brakes, steering, suspension, and drivetrain components Troubleshoot equipment failures and complete timely repairs Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards Support operational readiness of equipment required for aviation operations Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to maintenance needs as required What You Bring Must provide and maintain own tools Experience as a mechanic, automotive technician, diesel technician, fleet technician, or equipment mechanic Ability to work independently and manage assigned work with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn new equipment systems and maintenance techniques Ability to work effectively as part of a small team Experience with airport ground service equipment, fuel trucks, hydraulic systems, or diesel engines is a plus Security & Employment Requirements Valid driver's license required Must meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) standards Driving record with fewer than four (4) points No speeding violations exceeding 19 MPH over the posted speed limit Ability to successfully pass TSA and FBI background investigations Ability to obtain and maintain airport security credentials and access badges Successful completion of fingerprinting requirements Pre-employment and ongoing compliance with the Company's Drug-Free Workplace Program Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package, including: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Short-Term Disability (STD) Long-Term Disability (LTD) Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Annual Tool Allowance Annual Boot Allowance Send your resume to Careers@laneaviation.com Apply today to join our aviation support team.
