Develop and maintain standard functional components, including reports, documents, labels, dashboards and implementation scripts, using the relevant tools and standards.
Use Manhattan Active Configuration Director and other approved tools to manage configuration changes.
Ensure configurations can be consistently reused and deployed across different customers, sites and environments.
The Functional Template Consultant WMS is responsible for the hands-on configuration, maintenance, testing and continuous improvement of a global Manhattan Active WMS template. The role requires strong practical knowledge of Manhattan Active WM configuration, warehouse operational processes and the tools used to manage, validate and deploy system configuration. Working from approved functional designs and template requirements, the consultant translates business functionality into standardized, reusable and maintainable Manhattan Active configuration. The consultant is expected to understand the functional implications of configuration decisions, identify potential conflicts or deviations and proactively recommend improvements. A critical responsibility is ensuring that configuration remains consistent, scalable and supportable across our clients global customer base, rather than introducing unnecessary customer-specific complexity into the global template. The role combines independent configuration execution with close collaboration across functional architecture, product management, extension development, quality assurance and implementation teams.
