Why You Matter As a Materials Team Lead, you play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly by keeping materials flowing efficiently throughout the facility. Your leadership ensures the right parts are in the right place at the right time, directly impacting production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall operational performance. What You’ll Do Leadership of up to two associates focused on various tasks related to inventory accuracy and general material handling functions. Primary responsibility will be towards the RESP production line. Required to process ECN’s expeditiously to maintain shipment schedule and inventory. Maintain the Kanban system. D.T.S. machines/orders into stock. Research part shortages as they relate to bills of materials to determine point of cause. Perform problem solving of all part shortages. Perform stock verifications and perform problem solving to determine discrepancies. Work with Factory Leader on obsolete items and slow-moving parts in inventory. Provide training/support to the Material Presenters. Fill-in for Material Presenters during vacation/absences. Perfect candidate must be able to multi task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for maintaining a highly organized environment of the RESP materials area. This position is a working TL position. What We’re Looking For Candidate must be detailed oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Possess good problem-solving skills Must be self-directed focused on work completion Ability to work overtime as needed for customer fulfillment Must have demonstrated the ability to train new associates Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
