Crossing HurdlesPosition: Materials Science Domain Expert Type: Full-time Compensation: $70-$110 per hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Vet the quality of materials science knowledge work tasks and model outputs. Write high-quality instruction specs and produce golden solutions to materials problems. Design challenging materials science tasks and evaluation sets. Work with client researchers to keep standards consistent and translate tacit materials judgment into explicit criteria. Requirements PhD in materials science, materials engineering, or a closely related discipline. Strong relevant experience in materials research or industrial R&D. Genuine specialization in at least one area such as energy storage, semiconductors, or polymers. Hands-on working use of large language models in professional work.
