The Materials Processing Manager will oversee a full-scale operation including material flow, production, and shipping/receiving (fleet) management. The organization has a strong foundation set for operations and is ready for a successor to bring it to the next level in this new opening. What You Will Be Doing Lead a multi-functional operations team across material processing, warehouse, logistics, inventory, and material movement activities. Oversee day-to-day manufacturing and processing operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and operational goals are consistently achieved. Provide leadership and oversight for internal transportation and fleet-related operations. Identify and implement opportunities to improve throughput, cost, inventory accuracy, equipment reliability, and overall operational performance. Develop supervisors and frontline teams while fostering a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What We Need From You To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills: 8+ years of progressive experience in operations, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, material processing, or a related industrial environment. Proven experience leading supervisors and hourly teams within a fast-paced manufacturing or processing operation. Hands-on responsibility for fleet and/or transportation operations. Strong manufacturing background with an understanding of production equipment, machinery, and material flow. Strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and the ability to effectively lead a complex, high-volume operation. All-Star Skillset The ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills: Experience within recycling, plastics, materials processing, or a similar industrial environment. Exposure to extrusion or other equipment-intensive manufacturing processes. Strong warehouse and inventory management experience. Familiarity with ERP, warehouse, or inventory management systems.
