HoneywellAs a Materials Management Principal SME here at Honeywell, you will serve as a subject matter expert in materials management, driving best practices and strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain and inventory processes. You will leverage your deep expertise to influence decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support business objectives within the Industrial Automation sector. You will report directly to our Supply Chain Director and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company by enhancing materials management strategies that reduce costs, improve inventory accuracy, and ensure timely availability of materials critical to manufacturing and operations. Your expertise will help Honeywell maintain competitive advantage and operational excellence in the Industrial Automation market. YOU MUST HAVE 5 years of experience in materials management within industrial or manufacturing environments, demonstrating strong expertise in inventory control and supply chain optimization. 5 years in materials planning systems and ERP software to analyze and manage inventory and procurement processes effectively. 5 years of experience using supply chain workflows, procurement strategies, and regulatory compliance related to materials handling. 3 years of leading cross-functional collaboration and drive continuous improvement initiatives in materials management. WE VALUE Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field. Proven track record of successful materials management in complex industrial settings. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking to optimize supply chain and inventory operations. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead change management initiatives.
