Job Summary: The Materials Management Coordinator supports materials manager with supply chain operations to include central distribution, storekeepers, building and maintaining supply replenishment systems (Kanban’s), building and maintaining templates and bin labels. Ensures quality and safe patient care in managing/procuring products in a cost effective manner. Serves as back up to Inventory Coordinator. What You'll Bring to the Team: Provide outstanding customer service Exercise sound judgment, especially in an emergency situation; Prioritize workload and meet deadlines; Work cooperatively as a team member; Exhibit strong oral and written communications skills; Experience with MMIS (Materials Management Information Systems), Meditech preferred. Licensure and Certification: Certified Materials and Resource Professional preferred Education: High School diploma or GED required Preferred completion of college course(s) in Accounting, Logistics, Information Systems Development, Data Analytics, and/or Supply Chain Management Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in supply chain/materials management
